Timeless Voices celebrates the resilience and genius of composers who, despite personal and societal challenges, created works of lasting beauty that continue to inspire across generations.
Mendelssohn displays unmatched youthful brilliance in his Piano Trio No. 1, while the raw emotion of Shostakovich’s Piano Trio in C Minor, Op. 8 evokes the turbulence of the Stalinist era. Ezio Bosso’s Rain in Her Dark Eyes transforms personal health struggles into a hauntingly beautiful soundscape; Lachlan Skipworth’s delightful Oboe Quartet sets a fabulous new benchmark for oboe repertoire, and Artie Shaw’s jazz-infused Concerto redefines the boundaries of the traditional concerto.
Together, these works celebrate the triumph of the human spirit and the enduring power of music to connect, inspire, and leave an indelible mark on the world.
